Incredible rubber sole on a moccasin. You can wear it anywhere. Beautifully hand stitched. I removed the cushioned insole as it is not needed.

I intentionally waited to write this review until I could see the boots in person. These were purchased as a Christmas gift for my 22-year-old son in New York City, and I wanted to experience them firsthand before sharing my thoughts.
Simply put, I could not have asked for a more beautifully crafted, thoughtfully made pair of boots. The quality of the materials and the level of workmanship are exceptional—something I honestly have not encountered in American-made boots. My son has long been a Doc Martens fan, but after only a few days of wearing these, he echoed exactly what I was already thinking: the leather, construction, and overall feel far surpass anything he has owned before.
For the past 30 years, I’ve worked as a textile artist and educator, primarily at the collegiate level, and I’ve spent a great deal of time in Italy—especially in Florence—where quality is treated as a living art form passed down through generations. These boots embody that same tradition of craftsmanship and care.
The price felt very fair and competitive for what you receive, and absolutely worth the investment. Shipping was impressively fast, with tracking available within 24 hours of ordering, and the communication and follow-up throughout the process were excellent—something that’s becoming increasingly rare.
This was my first purchase, and since the boots were a gift, the next pair will be for me—and very soon.
At first inthought these would be difficult to break in becuase the leather is sturdy. It actually fits very comfortably and I dont have pain while wearing them. I've worn these for 6-8 hrs a day and they have broken in beatifully. Good work Palomo!!!
I got the Sherman Chelsea boots in Whiskey for the holidays/winter season and they have quickly become my favorite boots after only a few wears. The craftsmanship is top notch and the Horween leather is gorgeous. They’re comfortable right out of the box. Sturdy and supportive without being too bulky. All around awesome and high-quality boot.

the only issue is that they run small. I'm usually a 10.3 so I ordered size 11 and they are too tight/small. I look forward to a swift exchange.
The Ernest cap toe seems to be a well made boot. I appreciate the good year welt construction, and the vibram sole. The whisky color is very nice too, not too light, but not too dark. I wouldn’t mind if they expanded into more browns or even burgundys. my only complaint, although it is very minor, is that the flat laces sometimes fall off the speed hooks, but it is not a big deal. Overall very happy with my purchase.
From the communication with customer service, to the presentation, and the quality of the boots Palomo needs to be talked about more. They are a great competitor in the space for quality men's footwear. These boots vs my Thursday Vanguards are more comfortable with the initial wear so im sure it'll only get better. These Ernest cap toes are worth every penny and though I dont own any grant stones im sure these will rival them. The history of this brand is awesome as well. Get you a pair!

These are my new favorite shoes! I love that I can slide in and out of them without socks for wearing around the house. They're tough and durable enough for wearing outside when I'm doing yard work or gardening but also stylish and handsome enough to wear with slacks and a dress shirt out to a nice restaurant! Plus they're super comfortable, so these are.my new go to shoe for most occasions. The leather used in these hand crafted shoes is a cut above, I can tell these will last me a very long time, even with heavy use. Stoked!

So glad I pulled the trigger on these, I was a bit worried because some of the photos of this leather almost make it look like a sage greenish color, but in person they’re more of a tan/brown color, which is what I was hoping for. The fit is great for me, I have a high instep and they aren’t too tight across the top. Good for normal foot width, probably not great for wide feet. The welt stitching is perfect, and feels like a solid boot you can dress up or down. Highly recommend. For sizing reference, I am an US 11 on the brannock, wear a 10.5 in grant stone and redwing, 11 in trumans, and a size 11 is perfect for me in this Chelsea boot, I would say true to size. The pull tabs are almost hidden which is a nice design feature, they don’t get stuck on your pants.
